A Reconstruction Expiriment
Today I and a variety of classmates of different cohorts banded together to figure out just what shape the room we were assigned to arrange would take. What we had at our disposal was a couple of pews to sit in, some chairs, some tables, and an hour to plan it all out. This was our experience planning it out.
To begin this we came together getting recommendations and ideas for what could work in the space we were given. We first asked what kind of classes would be taking place here getting an understanding that there would be some history and mathematics happening in here. We came to the idea of a whiteboard and projector for teaching and clipboards for those sitting in the pews needing to write. We had to negotiate with a couple of other classrooms for the proper materials to make our vision possible.
The real challenge was finding what we didn't have at the school; for clipboards, amazon was our most efficient option and we got them ordered and ready.
