Socratic Dialogue

 In the class forbidden books our class began to learn about Socrates and his philosophies on the world. We analyzed his character as a gadfly almost to the city of Athens, asking everyone never ending questions and trying to disprove their beliefs. So we thought wed use Socrates as the main focus of our AP. For this assignment we were to make a dialog between two people one coming to another with a problem or subject of discussion and the other who would be a Socrates character would lead the conversation to have the other person have a personal realization about the topic. But while we were assigned to come to a conclusion with this assignment that isn´t always the case with the Socratic method. A Socratic discussion can carry on for a very long time without finding an answer. With people who keep coming up with counter points its hard to get anywhere productive. So for this project we had to make sure the meaning or moral of our discussions were not lost in translation.
